Felicity is a British actress known for her performance as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones is acting since the age of 12, and was in numerous movies and television shows. Jones began her acting career with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. The second television series she was a part of is The Worst Witch. She also portrayed Ethel Hallow on the follow-up Weirdsisters College. She was Young Ruth in her first film Flashbacks of a Fool and later on, she starred in numerous films. In films like The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she received a lot of attention for her roles. However it was her role on The Theory of Everything' which led to her receiving the Oscar nomination the first time. The biopic is based on the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was lauded by both viewers and critics due to her superb portrayal of Hawking's initial wife. Inferno, which was a Tom Hanks thriller was her following performance. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her extraordinary talent and work in the field of cinema.
